Our beloved leader is Dr. Brian King. Dr. King has been at Pet Vet for 15 years and bought the practice in the fall of 2004. Brian is a music connoisseur and you are likely to see him around town checking out a band or two. Hopefully, you have noticed the creative way Pet Vet is decorated, and hopefully you like it, because Dr. King did it himself! Brian loves to make and appreciate art. Some of our pieces are for sale, so come see what's on display! When Brian is not here, he's at home spending time with his wife and two daughters. Their first, Bella, is six years old, and, like her hair, is crazy enough to one day rule the world. Their second daughter, Francesca Rose, at three years old tends to take after her father, so watch out!

Dr. Gordon Luke is our associate veterinarian and has come full circle at Pet Vet. Over 11 years ago, he was a technician here before he went to vet school at the University of Georgia. After living in Portland for several years, Dr. Luke decided to move home. Originally from Summerville, he bought a home on James Island with his wife and five pets. On his off day he can be found fly-fishing or tending to a woodworking project. He is also kept busy with his two small children: daughter, Graycen (4), and son, Mclain (1).
Dr. Camilla Van Liew is a reliefveterinarilln who works at various clinics around town. The Pet Vet is lucky enough to have her on staff one day a week. Although Dr. Van Liew is a small-animal vet, she spends a lot oftime at the bam with her two horses. She is a great horsewoman who is currently spending a lot of time training for competition.
